The Fed doesn’t care about inflation. Their goal is just to inflate the debt away because they know they have no way of paying it back.

So who cares if inflation is 10% or 20% or 50%. The higher the inflation rate, the quicker they can pay down the debt. The people that get hurt will be the ones holding cash, or people who don’t own assets.
