Kodal Minerals nears completion at Bougouni Lithium project, prepares for exports

Kodal Minerals PLC (AIM:KOD) CEO Bernard Aylward takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company's latest update on its Bougouni lithium project in Mali, where construction is nearly complete and preparations for export are underway. Aylward shared that the optimisation and ramp-up phase of the processing plant has been going well, with over 11,000 tonnes of lithium concentrate already stockpiled and ready for export. "We've been making some adjustments as we go through this process and some improvements to the feed into the crusher... achieving a good product," he said. He noted that the company expects to reach nameplate capacity within the next couple of months, pending a final review and approval by the construction team. Kodal is also progressing steadily on the mining front, with a good run-of-mine (ROM) stockpile in place. The interview highlighted that the mining license transfer process is still ongoing, though Kodal has completed all compliance steps and is now awaiting sign-off from the Committee of Ministers and the President of Mali. Tamboran Resources boosts NT gas supply with Arafura deal

Tamboran Resources Ltd CEO Joel Riddle talked with Proactive about the company's newly signed letter of intent (LOI) with Arafura Resources Ltd to supply gas from the Beetaloo Basin. Riddle explained that both companies are based in the Northern Territory, and the agreement supports local strategic projects by providing 25 terajoules (TJs) per day to Arafura's critical minerals project. The agreement aligns with Tamboran’s strategy of prioritising Northern Territory gas use. “We’re a Northern Territory company. We’ve been focused on appraising the Beetaloo Basin now for all 12 years I’ve been in my job,” Riddle said, highlighting the company’s long-term commitment to the region. Riddle also pointed out the environmental edge of Beetaloo Basin gas, which has a CO2 content of about 3%, significantly lower than the 15–20% typically found in other Australian basins. He said supplying this low-carbon gas to the East Coast would help reduce emissions by displacing higher-carbon alternatives. Discussing supply capacity, Riddle compared the Beetaloo to the Marcellus Shale in the US, noting it could provide enough gas to support the East Coast for “hundreds of years”. Tamboran plans to bring 40 TJs per day online in the first half of next year under an existing 15-year agreement with the NT Government. The Arafura deal will add a further 25 TJs daily. Riddle said work is underway with pipeline partner APA to ensure infrastructure capacity. The company aims to finalise a binding gas sales agreement with Arafura soon. Arizona Gold Project yields highest grades for core to Date at Philadelphia Project

Arizona Gold and Silver Vice President of Exploration Greg Hahn spoke with Steve Darling from Proactive to announce a major milestone at the company’s Philadelphia Project in Arizona, reporting the highest gold grades to date from core drilling on the property. The standout result came from drill hole PC25-136, which intersected 4.91 metres grading 9.20 grams per tonne (gpt) gold, highlighting a robust zone of epithermal quartz and calcite-bearing vein breccia within rhyolitic volcanic rocks. Hahn explained that this new high-grade zone, located in the Rising Fawn area, had previously seen limited exploration and lacked the drilling required for a formal resource estimate. The mineralized interval is surrounded by lower-grade stockwork, indicating a broader halo of gold-bearing material. PC25-136 is the first of six drill holes recently completed to test extensions of earlier high-grade intercepts, targeting both down-dip and along-strike mineralization. Hahn noted that the presence of abundant yellow and green quartz in this zone is geologically significant and comparable to mineralization seen in the historic Oatman gold district, suggesting strong potential for further high-grade discoveries. Importantly, this intercept appears to be relatively shallow in the vein system, enhancing the prospectivity as drilling continues to deeper levels. Nexus Minerals expands Payns Find gold target

Nexus Minerals Ltd managing director Andy Tudor talked with Proactive about the latest exploration success at the Payns Find gold target, part of the company's Wallbrook Gold Project in Western Australia. Tudor described the program as “exciting” following a third air core drilling campaign that confirmed high-grade intercepts and significantly expanded the mineralised footprint. He said, “All of the attributes for a big system are here,” highlighting consistent grades of up to 5.99g/t at the extremities of a 900m by 750m target zone. The air core results revealed both supergene and fresh rock mineralisation, with around 30% of the 163 holes showing elevated geochemistry in the final metre — a strong indicator of a large underlying system. “It’s that grade in the supergene and in the fresh rock that’s got us excited,” Tudor said. He also pointed to the presence of a full suite of alteration minerals — cerussite, rutile, tourmaline, and albite — typically associated with major gold systems in the region. With the air core phase now complete, Nexus is turning to reverse circulation (RC) drill planning. Tudor confirmed that air core drilling would continue regionally, while the company prepares for a comprehensive RC program at Payns Find to test depth extensions down to 120–150m.
