After reading that, it seems to me reed hastings finally realized GZFX was about to outdo him, and needed to join the fray.

Fleming has been researching for the past two years what hastings plans to spend 40,000,000 dollars on the next six months.

Sounds like his offerings aren't of much better caliber than the 170 movies and tv episodes Fleming bought to cut his download teeth on.
