I can only comment on the brokers I actually use. Schwab is good about that stuff - I get all the notices etc. and there are no fees. although there is sometimes a delay. Ameritrade not so much - I get charged fees on the margin, account by account, if I hold a stock that has any kind of reorganization.

I had accounts at "down-market, el cheapo" brokers like Robinhood, Webull, Zecco, etc. All were uniformly weak in back office functions.

I'll stick with Schwab. I get all the distributions and notices I am supposed to get, and the Customer Service is top notch. IN particular, there is a "Corporate Reorganizations" desk that is very much on top of things like symbol changes, splits and reverse splits, stock dividends, etc.

If I could afford to buy all of them, I would not need to buy any of them and I sure wouldn't be spending time on the message boards!
