I fully accept public appearances and taking questions without notice is expected
of any president. And Biden now is taking heat for his lack of expected appearance.

In the above link what i said - about a man doing his job as best as he sees fits. And doing that in the way that suits him best - stands.

If any person, young or old, is not as good at public appearances as another, that's cool. It's the guts of
their end product which is of the uppermost important consideration in judging that person in the role.
