As in the first known US case. Again, there was no WHO for a barely functioning Chinese gov to report to. Neither did the WW1 combatants want to broadcast the arrival of the Flu in their armies. Also India was one of the first countries hit. And ended up with the highest deaths. The exact point of origin for the Spanish Flu is unknown.
