The government will never default. They can print as much money as they want. It just becomes inflationary.

I agree that's where they're heading. The easiest way to get rid of massive debt and unfunded liabilities is to inflate it away.

They of course won't cut entitlements, because that will rile up the unwashed masses. But a $2,000 SS check won't do much good when a gallon of milk is $20.
