So what will the Chicago Blackhawks and Columbus Blue Jackets do for an encore Thursday?

The first two games of their season series were nondescript, but the Blue Jackets stung the Hawks with a two-goal third period to win the third game Feb. 11, then the Hawks rallied in the third period and won in overtime two days later.

So Tuesday night’s 6-5 thriller in Columbus, Ohio, which the Hawks won on Alex DeBrincat’s shootout goal, should have come as little surprise.
