I'm not completely absolving Keith of impropriety, and frankly it does appear he was a licensed broker after going back and looking at additional DD. Those penalties, if warranted, will be sorted out and applied.
But it's hilarious to me that the emphasis from the DD board is 100% laser focused on one guy. That same guy published hundreds of hours of transparent knowledge, both bull and bear, so that you can make your own decisions.
And yet the hedge funds that obscenely shorted GME far below it's fair value, that do everything in their power to remain hidden, are apparently far beyond reproach. The same monied interests that are incestually in bed with retail brokerages while also acting as high-frequency traders themselves.
I'm not seeing much discussion of that from the DD board. I guess it's easier to paint someone as cartoonishly evil.
