To me, the close isn't that important. There is all sorts of manipulation that goes on with trying to close the price at a certain price point. I have seen plenty of 1 share trades just before the close to try and manipulate the close. The chart is much more important.

The closing price is just one data point for the entire day (out of about 100,000 data points). The chart includes ALL of those data points.

Yesterday, most of the day was spent between .0008 and .0011. Today, most of the day was spent between .0012 and .0014. You can see that in the charts. That is upwards movement.
