nlightn, you're right his comparison is phony and meant to distract from the facts. a better comparison to the disaster we are observing in iraq would be to say doesnt yelling fire in a crowded theatre and then watching as people are stampeded to death and acquire significant injuries bother you? and all because of a lie. sort of like the implied claims that iraq was connected to al qaida and had weapons of mass destruction so we have to invade and disarm them only to find out it was all based on lies and cherry picked intelligence and meant to further a goal of controlling their oil fields and having a permanent american footprint in the middle east. to make this comparison event even more juicy we would later find out that the person who yelled fire represented the hospital industry as the local hospitals needed to pump up their revenues to meet shareholder performance expectations. in the case of reality, the people who yelled wmd and al qaida has ties to iraq, all had ties to the military industrial war complex. my comparison is just as much a stretch as his but at least its a more reflective analogy.
