Re Buying gold

Everything I read leads me to believe the dollar will go down against other currancies and that gold will go up in price.

Why is the oposite happening??

If I want to buy gold ....just because...... I will use GLD but what do i pick as an entry price???

I don't care what the price will do in the next day or two. I am willing to wait six months or more if gold is going to keep sinking long term.
