I think some people are over thinking what Judge Casper is considering here. People suggesting all sorts of reasons for the Judge to make an ironclad 101 decision and not wanting to be appealed. Basically, making excuses for the delay. Personally, I don't buy any of that. Not likely that this unusual delay is related to thoroughness. It's true, Judges don't like to be appealed. However, any decisions made now will be appealed by either party. The Judge is also aware that 95%+ of these cases settle and don't go to trial. Statistically, that is what will likely happen here, if we pass the 101. In the rare event of a trial the Judge would not want to be appealed for errors the Court could make, but would expect to be appealed by whichever party loses.
The corruption we are witnessing in the markets and the justice system is right out in the open. Not even an attempt to hide it. Some suggest I get a reality check. I am pragmatic and observe pervasive corruption which has permeated our society. Yes, some of the fraud and corruption we witness on a daily basis is different, and not case specific to WDDD, but it seems to be accepted by society. This is a dangerous precedent and hopefully does not affect the ruling on the 101 decision.
