The beaches are wonderful. I recall snorkeling amongst a school of seahorses!!!
I particularly recall the awesome seafood.
At dinnertime, the restaurants would have fresh seafood displayed on ice before you walked in. Each type had a sign with price per kilo. You chose and paid for whatever and how much you wanted.
Then you thumbed through a laminated book of photos to indicate which preparation and side dishes you desired (included in basic price).
And during the day, piss away caution and eat the street food!
