Plasma risk is our best friend. So long as perceived risk
trumps the real thing (ie, for the forseeable future) the only
way around the catch-22 of democracy met with ignorance is to
have a bigger bogeyman than the other guy.

You probably saw that whack-job post on BV that Dew mocked for
confounding sales and profits (sourced to Peace, Earth, and
Justice News). I was tempted to point out that in politics it's
not the thought that counts but the "progressive and visionary
narrative" (to use their term).

I think Dew likes IDIX as a GTCB hedge: serious strides against
blood-borne disease would make rH* a harder sell. ;)

Guess that makes prion-free GM cattle a wash goat-wise.
That our products really are safer than the PD alternatives,
quantifiably so, is nice, but not so nice as the fact that
names and faces can be attached to real-world victims while
genetically modified potato chips have yet to claim any.
That's cold, but so is cash.
