Too tough to predict what the overall market will do....as I mentioned previously, typically a market does sell off several weeks after a new President takes over.
None of us know what will happen, but with all of the liquidity jammed into the system and more coming(via stimulus checks) it is hard to imagine more than a 5% or 10% correction....not to mention the trillions on the sidelines waiting for a pullback??
Bubble territory??? Maybe, but bubbles can last for a very long time before bursting....Allan Greenspan warned against a bubble stock market in 1996, and the market kept going up until 2000 when it finally burst/corrected.
The difference today, is there is much more liquidity in the markets and a new group of younger investors/gamblers that have stepped into the market causing it to continue to head higher.
So not sure of what the overall market will do, but more than ever this is a stock pickers market...even if the market corrects, some stocks may continue their upward trajectory!!
So the question really is....will CDMO be one of these winner stocks going forward??
Once again the upcoming Avid CC may offer some clues....I am not so much focused on the short term earning and revenues numbers, but more concerned with how management lays out their future growth plans.
The longer term upside could be spectacular or more modest?? What has kept the share price up is a lack of sellers....in the past, every time our stock went up, there was a torrent of selling and profit taking. Now there is an absence of sellers....no one wants to sell anymore because they are afraid of missing out on even higher prices!!!
In the end, all of the above will still lead to someone taking us out somewhere down the line....will it be sooner or later is the question....meanwhile with this kind of interest in this stock, it is making it very difficult to sell....I mean what would you buy??? Gamestop?? Tesla??? Another biotech no one has heard of???
Strange times we live in...hold on to your shares IMO!!
