The answer to that question is simple, RVVTF has no revenue stream.

They need the money TODAY!
To finish the trial, to run another trial, operating expenses ect.

Plus as others pointed out, this was the M.O. of capitalism by a firm going around to all the companies involved with the Psych ETF.
