Good point. The People in his clearly has two distinct meanings. As you suggest there are The People who voted for Trump. The People
who voted for Biden. The people who didn't vote at all. The People who were with Ali Alexander in his desire to storm the Capitol Building.

The People who voted and accept the election result was legit.

The People really means nothing at all when abused as the two words are in that meme.
