One thing that has given me a lot of confidence from the first purchase here is the impressive background of CEO Leandro Iglesias.
He founded Etelix and before that, among other things, he was the International Business Manager, for a foreign telecom company that was under the control of Verizon.
I have long suspected that the knowledge and business relationships he established working with, or for, Verizon is what keeps helping them get into these great opportunities. That's just a guess. But with that possibility there are several other co-founders and co-workers that bring expertise and experience of their own. Of course, seeing all this on the company website.
But they have the background and this vision of taking on any area where they see profit. They could have easily rested on being a small telecom provider, but they want to branch out into any and every area possible in the latest new tech areas. Fintech, Blockchain, IoT, etc, etc.
Another positive I believe is they have a core customer area, Latin America, and migrant workers where they appear to leverage that business to eventually branch out to other populations, to really anywhere in the world from there.
They have expressed their desire to become a mid tier telecom, but to my knowledge, they have never said where they see that going in revenue. So just my opinion, but I think they clearly have their sites set on being a billion dollar revenue company, although that will likely take several years, and they may not have stated it.
Actually I don't see the path there yet based on current business, but let them get profitable and there seems to be no end to new profit areas they are pursing, or perhaps will pursue. And likely, they just don't have enough information yet to make long term projections for the new ventures, Fintech, Blockchain, IoT, any one of which could offer great potential.
And then there is other submarine cables to maybe purchase, or other business to gain from existing huge telecoms that they already work with. If all that isn't enough, just when you think you got this company's path figured out, they surprise you with a whole other revenue opportunity like they did with Fintech.
Maybe the most amazing talent they are showing is the ability to take one thing they got going like VOIP and SMS and pivot that same customer base for the other ideas they move in to. IMO, I see big telecoms saying who can do this for us? and who can do that for us? And the answer may just keep coming back that iQSTEL can do this and they can do that too, and they can also bring this new idea you wanted to just get started with, Blockchain perhaps. They do that too.
And btw, their products are award winning. Being one of the one hundred companies out of thousands of products submitted adds a credibility that cannot be understated. IoT is such a new field and they suddenly are among the leaders. That has all the potential of getting a leg up on so many others at this crucial early time for IoT innovation.
The thing with iQSTEL is they are very aggressive in growth plans. What company doesn't want to be? But iQSTEL did about 5m in revenue in all of 2017, then about 5m in one quarter, Q1 2020, to now doing over 5m in revenue every month. Watch out world, iQSTEL is coming for you.
These are just my guesses, opinions, and maybe just wishful thinking. Anything can happen so make your own choices. But I do believe this is an interesting company story worthy of the attention it is getting and more so.
