Texas Instruments Q3 earns 25c, revenue $2.53 bln (TXN) By Chris Kraeuter
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) -- Texas Instruments (TXN) reported third-quarter net income of $447 million, or 25 cents a share, and revenue of $2.53 billion. The chipmaker's income includes an expected 13 cent-a-share tax benefit. For the fourth quarter, TI predicted earnings between 14 and 19 cents a share and sales between $2.49 billion and $2.7 billion.
