Agree - and a job where you can have a positive impact on not just the mortgage market, but housing as a whole and perhaps the entire economy.

Overall, at this stage, I am optimistic as I regard both Biden and Yellen as moderate pragmatists and would pick a Director of a like mindset. After many attempts to come up with a better housing finance system than the GSEs, and in the middle of and after the pandemic, I have to believe there will be no major changes to housing finance. Why is this important? Other than the obvious, it should be important to investors as there will be little or no wasted time in trying some form of housing finance "reform" from scratch. There is no argument that the current system (invented by Al Gore, I believe - who is also the father of the internet) works well. And best of all - good chance of more reasonable cap requirements.
