Hate to burst your bubble but Zarqawi was not even a member of al qaeda when we invaded Iraq nor was he in the part of Iraq controlled by Saddam. Zarqawi had his own organization. He was in Northern Iraq where the Kurds were located and we had several chances to get him prior to our invasion. He did not go into Baghdad until after our invasion.
