That is all +ve sign and good news. You and I were the first people here before most appeared. So we are on the same page.
But fyi- a merger is confirmed only after filing of an 8K. A PR and other info have no legal standing.
SFIO had announced an earlier merger and to go current in Sept 2019. See link below. This is just an example that a PR can be released but that is not conclusive of a merger. Only an 8K filing is conclusive.

I am very optimistic about this one because of Serverbank's involvement. I will keep an eye on it and will get back in once they start filing or maybe after an 8K is filed-at a much higher pps of course
It is possible that they had the filings ready but found something and had to update/edit them. But they can be transparent and tell it as it is.
As I said I lost in 6 figures $$ in RET*** and I didn't want to be in a situation to lose a big chunk again if the merger is facing any issue. I would rather wait and pay higher pps once it unfolds.
