Scary that he's had a gun the whole time because he's a deranged and a bigot.
First thing they should do is take away and lock up all his weapons during the lawsuits. And cancel any permits he may have had with points on his record, he shouldn't be permitted to legally buy guns.
Legally. He will be able to buy guns illegally with no problem in texas.

But if he's getting points with his crimes, and this ex-cop used a weapon in the committing of the crime, having a weapon on him again will be a federal offense.
