Koog: Sorry about the highly provocative question, but is replacing the CEO going to be enough for Intel?

I find articles by a lot of industry pundits that ARM is moving into Intel turf from a low cost/high volume position - in both laptops (Apple's M1) as well as servers (Amazon's Graviton and now possibly Microsoft) - much as Intel did against SPARC and other advanced RISC machines in the 1990s.

Questions to chip experts on this board:

(1) Does Intel have a way out of this quandary? How does Intel protect both its server and client markets?

(2) What should be Intel's response to ARM's approach - in both server and client markets? Does Intel even have a strategy to protect their turf?

(3) If there are any viable responses, has Intel started doing any of them and where exactly are they in executing these responses?

(4) The other bizarre thing yesterday is that the Microsoft server move to ARM hardly impacted AMD stock price. Though this is peripheral to Intel, shouldn't this Microsoft "move" impact AMD heavily as well? I ask this because I am left wondering how much role the hedge funds or other big investors have in promoting this rumor as a big strike against Intel.

(5) Who would make a better Intel CEO than the last 2 or 3 CEOs? And why? I am not looking at someone who can tinker better than Swan or Krzanich or even Otellini - I would like to see who can bring astute vision and a heavy hand to create fundamental change and put Intel back on its feet as an industry leader.

Thank you.
