Tornado Alley (PROG)

I have to find it, but I'll go again...

was walking on a hillside headed down to a valley close to the place that my parents lived.

was trying to get away from the house, so I could light one up.

found a huge boulder on the hillside that looked like a nice seat.

walked towards the boulder through the high grass and out popped something that scared the holy living shit out of me.

It popped out and flew to a nearby tree.

By the time I gathered myself and made sure my shorts were clean, I looked up at the beast and saw it was a turkey. I never knew that they could fly.

i still sat on that rock and had a smoker. I invited the bird but he was having none of it.

Him and I shared a moment. I walked back to the house a little worse for wear and the bird was probably back down where it was hiding in the first place.
