There is zero mention of ongoing battery research or even the means to do any. You don't get from zero to significant new battery technology in a month or two, especially with only $15k cash. It takes years of research and gobs of money to even fail.

I swear I’ll never use the phrase “you can’t make this stuff up” ever again after being on the OTC. Apparently you can.
