I just got an email from someone who knew him better:

YES he is in jail with a $250,000 bail.

I guess he is in for money laudering. Forged checks, stealing from disabled/elderly women.
Nothing to do with stocks yet!




...........Not that this is very relevant here, other than it gives some credibility to what I've heard from another person from here that knows SCMI better than most of us.
