<<Yep. I got tired of watching you have all the scalping fun.>>

LOL!! But it takes a certain built up toughness to actually trade by a scalping model. You are always laddering into end-of-the-world selloffs, holding your nose in the process. If you read the message boards, everyone will be predicting further doom and gloom in the upcoming days. Sometimes I get out in just a day and other time it turns into a 5 or 6 day quagmire where I ladder into further selloffs, awaiting the sun to come out. But a vast majority of the times I come out profitably, and those 2-3% gains add up.

Re: your chart seems to nail bottoms nicely. But I notice that the chart is only effective for the recent Bull market. I think that you will find that you will need to set your "Long" and "Clown Long" triggers differently for Bear market conditions.

Re: the "Excel thingie". Sometimes I am bored and I go into Google and type in "QQQ models" or "stock market timing models" or something like that. Then I look at the web sites and see what I could dig up that might help me in my own developmental efforts. The thingie that I sent to you was a for sale model (not a subscription service), one time price of I think $129 and you get the timing model forever. I was quite impressed with that model I must say, but I didn't purchase it. At least not yet.
I was interested in how that guy determines if a Bull or Bear market is in progress, thereby kicking in an complementary set of rules and parameters. His methodology was such that when the NDX outperforms the DJIA, then a Bull market is at hand. Vice-versa for a Bear market. Over what time period? Well thats a trade secret of his? But I can take that idea and run with it.

BTW, looks like the "Michigan Stock Picker" has only 7 bookmarks. He needs to work on his online persona I suppose . . .
