Right. Exactly, I think. You must know I wasn't presenting that dragline excavator as some kind of "green machine." The electric power came directly from the nearby, coal-fired Navajo Generating Station (?) that was itself consuming the coal mined there at Black Mesa - the largest coal-fired plant on the continent. I believe it's now been shut down.

I'm just querying I-Man about engine construction possibilities for MUCH smaller "heavy construction" vehicles.

Couldn't we just try to cool the rhetoric a bit? I agree the politics here are important - been in that a long time, myself - but in this forum it's just pointless to ramp up the anger, right?
