So, I am not fully certain, but I think your dividend shares are likely the safest of all. They were what created the stock in the first place if I understand the DD correctly. They would have been included in the original AS.

The shares to be cancelled would be the ones issued later by the former owner to his corrupt family and friends. The former owner was known to be a scam artist and was taken down by the SEC. He's dead now.
