Yes humans emit methane; I knew that. I had specifically mentioned cattle because global warming (climate change) scientists specifically say that cows (and bovine bulls) emit very large amount of methane, due to the way their digestive system is (due to cows being ruminants). That is part of the reason why some environmentalists even say people should reduce their meat consumption (and substitute plant food in its place) in order to fight climate change.
