The patents are for (as far as I understand) the liquid nitrogen technology.

Most refrigerators use the traditional compression cycle with a coolant (exactly like how we have the refrigerators at home), which are energy intensive and dissipate all the heat from inside of the fridge outdoors.

If you stand behind your fridge the coil is where you will sense the heat that is extracted from the fridge. This is a very inefficient process and the temperature cannot be modulated incredibly precisely.

Reflect scientific has patented technology that does not require the traditional compression cycle and does the cooling and maintaining of temperature using liquid nitrogen instead.
