YW. You have Trump's GOP holding Biden's win was a fraud. They reject the truth of the election. The core of American democracy they reject as illegitimate.

So it follows that Biden is illegitimate. If the election that wasn't was, then Biden is.

That's something like the belief Trump was not only legitimate, but something extra. The Chosen One. God's gift. Nutsy reason.

Then you have respected fact checkers being labeled, not as honest people simply doing a public service which they are, but as censors. Fact checking becomes censorship.

The condition of insisting on truth becomes a political no-no. So prominent GOP figures move from Facebook and Twitter, to Parler and Rumble. They say they are running from censorship. To their constitutional right of freedom of speech.

Children it's not right to lie. Screw you mommy, we're going to Donald's house. His parents say it's ok to lie.

They label all the honest people who ran the elections they dispute as liars and cheats.

Honesty becomes dishonesty. In their minds.
