"We are buyers of stocks exposed to stronger-than-expected consumer 5G demand," Morgan Stanley analysts said in a report. "Current smartphone purchase intentions are the strongest in recent history."

Morgan Stanley based its current assessment on a survey of nearly 3,500 consumers in the U.S. and China.

Analyst Katy Huberty raised her bull-case price target on Apple stock to 191 from 171. She kept her base-case price target at 136 and reiterated her overweight rating on Apple stock.
