The easy way out was to have a control arm of just Metronomic Ifosfamide minus CIABs. But Lohr didn't want the expense of a control arm(?). Either that or he never learned how to setup a study with an appropriate control group(s).

It's also unclear if the cells Lohr used were better or worse per the current cells. Especially since when they found out the line was unstable, it was 17 yrs later.
