If a VLN tobacco product was actually FDA approved as a prescription, no hospital would remove you from it's hospital privileges or disallow you should you choose to utilize said FDA approved prescription to prevent or treat a medical problem.

Furthermore, many physicians no longer go to the hospital as much of in-patient work is delegated to in-hospital only physicians, ie. Hospitalists.
