Hard question to answer cha-ching...one thing I watch for on getting out is MACD ..we discussed this here yesterday...I use MACD Fast line divergence not so much as a buy signal as a sell signal.When fast is over the slow I use it as a MOMO indicator and if the spread between the 2 is increasing then momentum is strong..when it begins to narrow I take it as a signal that MOMO is decreasing and if fast line begins to flatten just slightly I take profits...this is regardless of their being above or below zero line.I also watch the MACD histogram for increasing or decreasing..its another cue to a stocks strength for a sustained run or beginning to top out.
