Massive? National? No idea. You need a link to explain that.

I do know that there have been/are many right-wing provocateurs creating violence in what are otherwise peaceful demonstrations.

As for saying you don't know much of the Proud Boys you sound like Trump.

Maybe it's the case you are no more interested than he is in understanding what is really going on.
