RE R.E. Taxes

What is amazing to me is the amount of county taxes that they are bringing in. Nobody seems to care about that. They care about a 25 cent increase in gas, but not about the increase in home owner's taxes. Now to see if they are going to reassess property values down and decrease taxes with prices falling.....not going to happen. In Fl they can raise your existing home taxes 3% a year and they do, and if you buy an existing home, they reassess the property to the new tax rate. With all the huge growth in Central Fl. that source of revenue is huge....
