American media twisting themselves into pretzels to explain their bias

Before Donald Trump there was an unspoken understanding between the GOP and the media. The media would be as rotten, partisan and dishonest as they wanted, and republicans would pretend the media were objective, professional, actual journalists. Which, of course, they are not.

This unspoken arrangement drove ordinary Americans crazy, because they hated seeing themselves and the people they elected be constantly mocked, ridiculed and basically just treated like dirt by the news media. And we saw it for what it is: Bullying. Americans always wanted them to fight back, but they never would. They'd just take a beating like cowards and hope they wouldn't be hurt too bad by it. The only real pushback in the post-Watergate era that I'm referring to here was by Ronald Reagan. But he almost never confronted the media directly. He was a guy who charmed and outsmarted a hateful media who still had some old-timers who wanted to keep the appearance of objectivity. So they had a tough time with him.

But, starting with George H.W. Bush in 1988, the media went into attack dog mode and GOP leadership fell to the ground in the fetal position and spent the next 27 years cowering on the ground while they were mercilessly pummeled and humiliated over and over by the Democrats' Washington press corps.

George Bush was completely destroyed as a man in every conceivable way, and he just took it.

Bill Clinton was swooned over and covered-up for. The media loved Clinton so much they smeared the trail of women in his path as "trailer trash" and laughed along with James Carville when he said of Clinton's rape victims "When you drag a dolla bill through a trailer park you never know what you gonna git!" [Media applause and laughter] The media thought it cool and hilarious that the Clinton campaign had a self-described 'Bimbo Eruption Team' to threaten, smear and destroy the lives of women who came forward. Hillary headed up that team, and George Stephanopolous has a famous scene in a documentary where he's threatening a woman on the phone during the campaign where he was a campaign advisor. He's now at ABC News posing as a journalist. So, Bill Clinton was living the high life.

George W. Bush basically took the same approach to the media as his dad. Just let them beat him up with horrible accusations day after day. Rush used to play a funny montage of CNN's Wolf Blitzer beginning his time on the air by gloating over Bush's terrible poll numbers over and over. It's funny because it really was a joke. We all know the polls are stacked with Democrats and completely fake, but Blitzer's reporting was also fake. He knew the polls were rigged and it really wasn't news. He was creating the news of Bush's terrible poll numbers for the purpose of driving down his poll numbers to give himself more fake news to gloat about. I don't really care so much about this one because George W. Bush really is a terrible human being. He and his family sold out the American people, got a lot of Americans killed for no reason of any national interest and didn't do squat to protect America. On top of that, he and his family have now screwed over the people who elected him and his dad to the presidency THREE times by supporting Democrats against the Republican Donald Trump. So, screw him.

We all know Barack Obama is the most worshiped human being in media history, so there's no need to bring that up.

But John McCain was somehow even worse than W. Bush at letting the media demonize him, and Mitt Romney practically begged the media to abuse him. Romney is downright masochistic. How many of us watched him get beat up by a girl during that debate in 2012 where Candy Crowley stood between him and Obama and called him a liar right to his face and screamed at the TV "DEFEND YOURSELF, DAMMIT!"? And he wasn't incorrect, she was! But he just took his whipping without protesting.

The result of the media's having their way with Republicans for decades was what you'd expect from a bully/victim relationship. The bully gets used to beating up the victim and laughing at him and getting the bully's-little-buddies to laugh and mock him and they all get used to stealing the victim's lunch money. It becomes normal to them. A couple generations of people came out of journalism school and learned the ropes in Washington with this as the norm. Media is as dishonest, mean and partisan as they want to be and Republicans take the abuse and say 'thank you'.

Mainstream media is so corrupt and so blatantly dishonest that they keep spawning new ways for Americans to get information so they don't have to rely on their dishonest reporting. In the late 1980s, the Rush Limbaugh Show revolutionized radio and saved AM stations. In the 1990s Fox News came along. And, of course, internet news sites exploded as a whole new way of getting around the corrupt peddlers of Democrat propaganda. Major media is only a shell of its former self. The leftists who sit in those previously-prestigious seats were so dishonest they completely destroyed the goodwill built by their predecessors.

I've often said that Donald Trump isn't necessarily any Republican's favorite human being. He's loud, obnoxious...he embodies everything Americans in flyover country pretty much presume people from New York City are like. And they don't like them.

But Donald Trump is a fighter. When the media showed up to collect his lunch money he told them to go to hell. When they tried to beat him up, he called them out on it and fought back. Generations of Americans who'd never seen a Republican stand up for himself rocketed the man to the top of the polls in the GOP primary and he never looked back. The fact that Trump is proudly pro-American, says what he thinks and makes the America-hating media bullies' heads explode were all bonuses.

So, of course, nothing was off limits to the media. No accusation was too absurd for them to spend days smearing him with. Stormy Daniels fake news, accusations he is a Russian spy who's infiltrated the White House by tricking American voters, fake anonymous stories about him telling Marine Corps generals that dead troops were suckers and losers. Remember the 2 scoops of ice cream thing? Or the accusations he was having a secret company steal mailboxes so poor people couldn't vote? And all this is not to mention the Ukrainian phone call where every single thing they accused him of doing was proven wrong when he declassified the transcript of the call and put it out there for anyone to read. The Ukrainian president even weighed in and said he had no idea what the Democrats and American media were talking about. But the Democrats and their media impeached him over it, anyway. It didn't matter that it wasn't true or that their story completely fell apart. There was never any accusation too scurrilous, unverified, anonymous or ridiculous for the media to splatter it around 24/7 hoping something would stick and his supporters would abandon him.

Then suddenly...a computer repair guy in Delaware gives gives longtime organized crime prosecutor and former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani a laptop that he says is Hunter Biden's and it's full of things that seem to be illegal. The repair guy had the laptop for a long time. It was dropped off and signed for by Hunter Biden, who never came back to get it. The computer guy had already given the original laptop to the FBI and one other member of Congress, but nothing happened. They just disappeared. Between knowing the contents of the computer, how powerful the FBI and the people he was dealing with are, he was afraid for his life. So he made copies and gave them to a couple friends in case something happened to him. Giuliani was the first one to not just sit on it. Joe Biden is heavily implicated in the emails and texts on Hunter's computer. When the matter became public, Hunter Biden's attorney emailed the repair guy and demanded the return of his client's laptop.

Major media's response to this story is refusal to cover it, claiming it is "unverified". In her 60 Minutes interview with President Trump this week, there was a telling exchange. Longtime Democrat hack Leslie Stahl told the President they would not talk about or cover the blockbuster information on Biden's laptop because "it can't be verified", to which the President asked "Why can't it be verified?!?" Stahl's response revealed their bias in all it's glory: "Because it can't be verified!" So, in other words, it's not currently verified by one of our fellow leftists as true, so we are not going to inquire about it to see if it's true. See that little circle they've created. They're rats. The establishment media is like a nest of filthy cockroaches.

Here's what we know for a fact about Hunter's laptop:

1. It has a hard drive packed full of Hunter's personal and business information and communications;

2. It was dropped off by Hunter Biden at a computer repair shop, with Hunter's signature on the receipt;

3. The owner of the computer store says: "Hunter Biden dropped off this laptop";

4. When he never returned to retrieve it, the store owner turned it over to the FBI because of it's contents;

5. The store owner reached out to other officials with the laptop and feared for his life;

6. When the story broke, Hunter Biden's attorney contacted the computer guy and demanded the laptop be returned to his client, Hunter Biden;

7. Hunter's former business partner provided his own computer, with matching email traffic and copies of contracts and business dealings that line up with or put in context the emails and text messages from Hunter's computer;

8. The Bidens are refusing to deny the machine belongs to Hunter Biden.

In spite of all these facts, Leslie Stahl and the rest of the major media are refusing to cover the story, claiming it "cannot be verified". Contrast this with their nonstop Russian collusion hoax that not only couldn't be verified, an Army of Democrat lawyers were given subpoena power and a bottomless checkbook to go after anything, anyone and anywhere to turn up a scrap of evidence supporting Hillary's Russian collusion accusation. After 2-1/2 YEARS and $30 million in taxpayer money...nothing. And this is leaving out the never-ending stream of anonymous sources, anonymous whistleblowers and anonymous accusers the media is forever using to harass President Trump, his administration and his family.

It's well-established that the Washington media is the most incestuous, conflicted profession on Earth. This correspondent is married to that Obama official, some other big-name editor is the brother of some Clinton campaign chairman, etc. Democrat officials and the Washington media just rotate around and change seats and marry each other, then they demand to be taken seriously as journalists as they mercilessly bash Republicans with fake scandals and coordinate their attacks with each other and the Democrats. Honestly, was anyone surprised when CNN's Donna Brazile - a longtime Democrat Chairwoman - gave CNN's debate questions to the Hillary campaign in advance?

But this Hunter Biden mess has them squirming, and I find that more interesting than what's actually on Hunter's computer. The major media refusal to cover the story is so blatantly "we just don't wanna!", and social media's banning of the New York Post and any links, memes or mention of the story exposes a bigger problem than Hunter selling access to his dad or doing drugs.

The cockroaches in major media and social media have been forced out into the open and they're scurrying around on the floor for everyone to see.
