I just actually had the thought since there will be increasing international traffic to Kartoon Channel, are those in the US the only ones getting the lunchable/hotwheels commercials? (I have no idea if lunchables are a thing overseas)... if so, then they could potentially be getting ad revenue from multiple other international companies commercials (that we would never see in the US) outside of just hotwheels and lunchables (that I've seen so far).
Super bowl commercials cost so much because of the amount of eyes tuning in. As Genius's user base grows & depending how many companies they decide to let advertise on their platform.. I would imagine it is going to cost a substantial amount of money to be advertising and getting the screen time of kids, let alone kids internationally. I just don't feel like this ad revenue is going be any old ad revenue from having a commercial or web traffic, getting on the short list of companies inside Kartoon Channel must cost a pretty penny.
