At least 49 new coronavirus deaths and 1,607 new cases were reported in North Carolina on Oct. 20. Over the past week, there have been an average of 2,045 cases per day, an increase of 19 percent from the average two weeks earlier.
As of Wednesday afternoon, there have been at least 249,205 cases and 4,019 deaths in North Carolina since the beginning of the pandemic, according to a New York Times database.

I went to Home Depot today and even though the sign says masks required idiots were walking around without them.
