""All I am stating is that saying 70% decline due to real investors being scared is not even close to a true statement."
when a ceo announces that he has decided to do a r/s, 99.9% of the time, that stock will drop dramatically...r/s have ALWAYS had a negative impact on stocks...because generally, they are a signal that something is wrong...and when that happens, everyone sells...long term, short term doesnt matter...its only common sense...if you KNOW a stock will drop, you sell before it does...theres no value or virtue in holding at that point...
a "real investor" is anyone who buys a stock...you have heard many long term investors here admit they also trade the hell out of kblb...so i dont understand the concept of "real investor"?...is that someone who holds on even while the stock drops like a rock?...is that the definition of a "real investor"...i assure you that you are going to find a whole lot less "real investors" on the nasdaq...lol
"I would be willing to bet that more long term investors were selling on the way up then on the way down."
the point is, they sold...when is irrelevant...
"I would also bet that 75% of the total volume that moved during this roller coaster ride was due to traders trading."
and i would bet that they are all quite happy with the selling they did because they are all quite likely much better off having done so...so what is your point?..
"Covid has effect just about every company in the world in a negative way."
covid has had a huge effect on a lot of retail businesses...covid has had very little effect on manufacturing...
the fact is, covid has had very little effect on kblb...they havent been shut down or anything else...
stupid mistakes have had the most effect on prodigy...and the inability to get eggs into vietnam imo is probably mostly due to incompetence than anything else...i suspect there were about a dozen ways to get er done but kim was too afraid to do what needed to be done...
its COMMUNIST VIETNAM!...they EXPECT you to buy your way past the roadblocks they set up!...the literal ones and the figurative ones...
after years of trying to get into vietnam, kim finally turned to jet le to get it done...and HE DID!...and he should have left it to jet le to get the worms into vietnam this last time as well...because he would have gotten it done...
"Out of anyone’s control."
baloney...even when covid poses a challenge, it doesnt mean theres no way to get done what needs to be done...
even when covid shut down restaurants, they started serving food outdoors in patios or under tents...stepped up their take out...started using uber to deliver..etc etc...THEY didnt just come to a complete stop and sit around watching cartoons all day like prodigy has...
"I’ve been reading this board a lot less lately. I find it helps me feel a little better about the state of things."
smh lol
