You're correct, rstar. I didn't realize that I had gotten ahead of myself by writing that the drug had been repurposed.

But, that was what I had concluded will be likely. Polar Capital's investments last February showed their interest in getting into Covid testing and treatment.

Then, we have Lilly acquiring Dermira, one of the companies where Polar Cap took an investment.

We are going up against a repurposed psoriasis drug in our ACTIV5 trial.

Then, FDA fast tracks lebrikizumab.

Those reasons combined led me to conclude that lebrikizumab will soon find it's way into the Covid foray. My overstatement was unintentional. I would not have even realized my statement was inaccurate, if you hadn't been sharp enough to realize it. Thank you for that.

While I was rummaging around before and after starting this thread, it was particularly noteworthy to me that some of these mAbs cause a brain encephalopathy. Chronic trauma is another contributing factor. It was noteworthy to me because that happened to my wife. She was going through wound care three times a week during the time that doctors refused to prescribe any more pain medicine. I can only imagine the relentless and untreated pain my wife was going through after that. And then they suspected that she might have developed Covid, so she was given two Covid tests, which were negative. But during that time, I questioned why they suspected Covid. Did she have elevated GM-CSF levels, or what? I wanted to know if we needed to try to get an IND for lenz. It was just one thing after another. I ended up hiring a hospice company to oversee the staff at the medical facility where I still wanted her to receive treatment. I wanted hospice because they can prescribe pain medication without fear of having their medical licenses revoked. I'm glad I did that, and my wife could at least get pain relief. Unfortunately, my wife died Wednesday night.

But the point being is that I think lenz may have benefitted my wife for TWO reasons. First, as a Covid preventative, and secondly, as a co-therapy treatment for the encephalopathy.
