The public hearing is specifically for the purpose of extending the temporary trading halt.

I haven't followed many of these cases in Canada, and none in Ontario, so I don't know what happens next. My guess is that the suspension will be extended indefinitely, as the OSC collects more evidence.

Meanwhile, the SEC may or may not make a move.
