Of course Trump didn't give a damn regarding the safety of others.

We overanalyze Trump. He is what he appears to be.

In short, what if Trump is exactly as he appears: a hopeless narcissist with the attention span of a fruit fly, unable to maintain consistent beliefs or commitments from moment to moment, acting on base instinct, entirely situationally, to bolster his terrifyingly fragile ego.

As a child i decided to take others at face value. Not to judge until i was given a reason to.

As an adult it only took awhile to know who Trump was. What he was.
That was five years ago when he jumped into the presidential race.

No bad fresh revelation about Trump could come close to shocking me.
