I have learned that escrows do not matter anymore, as these were only related to WMILT topics and these are done meanwhile.
More important is that releases have been given and that these data are registered at DTCC, doesn't matter if escrows are still there or already deleted.
I still have my escrows for U's and P's, however my broker and BBH have threated with fees for my K's, if I do not agree and sign a "PREM (position removal) document". This was in 2018! In the document there is written, that the data at DTCC are still stored for 7 years! This would mean, that also my K's could be un-PREM-ed without any problem till year 2025! This is still nearly 5 years from now on! Furthermore I have involved a mediation body and finally got the agreement, that I also will benefit when it would take longer than 7 years. So all should be fine.
I also assume that you won't wait further 5 years till we have more information about any further possible distributions ?
Or do we maybe have to wait till year 2041 till we see something ?
I think really nobody will give up his escrows, if he doesn't have to. And also keep in mind, that also PREMed escrows could be un-PREM-ed within at least 7 years from the date when they have been PREMed.
So the sharks try to delay everything for further 5 years ?
