The payments will come due during his second term in office, should he be re-elected on November 3
Two of his most famous properties: Trump Tower in New York and Trump National Doral in Miami have been mortgaged
In 2012, Trump took out a $100 million mortgage on the commercial area of Trump Tower and that sum comes due in 2022
The president also owes a $125 million mortgage balance on Doral, which comes due in three years
The Times' report warns that lenders may be put in an unprecedented position of deciding whether to foreclose upon a sitting president
