OT (OT - because the post below contains no information that is useful for trading (g))

<it is pretty well established that the "correct" solution is buy and hold>

I suppose most of the posters here either don't believe in this conventional wisdom or are not familiar with it (g).

<how various strategies might have worked for you?>

I did well trading some of the juniors and SA miners, but, on average, buy and hold would do better. I started buying gold miners when HUI was around 100.

I do very little trading in Roth and in 403b because of transaction costs; most of the short-term trades are in conventional accounts. I do pay taxes :(
